Welcome, and join us for our SECOND EPISODE of the Havana People Sound podcast, releasing weekly podcasts and discussing all things dance! We are coming to you from our home studio (a fancy name for our desk!)
This week we discuss lockdown and the positive things you can do for you mind and body while we are missing our classes and social dancing events.
Our podcast is designed for easy listening along to your coffee or tea, have a laugh or learn something new! We also want to hear from you! If you have any contributions you’d like to make or requests we are happy to include them!
As dance is close to our hearts we will be focusing on all things dance related – from music, tips of styling, recovery and practice, dance community, culture and history, as well as important topics relating to the news and the world we live in.
Havana People Sound – you are hearing the voices of Mariano and Rhi, with some gorgeous music underneath to keep that Latin mood. We thought during the Covid-19 Lockdown would be the perfect time to start while we are still restricted from our dancing activities, so this podcast won’t replace the action of going out dancing, but hopefully it will help to ease the suffering until we are back!
We will be using our experience and dance/music educations to talk to you about dancing, this podcast is for all styles of dance but is more focused on the social dances (Salsa and Bachata) especially in the whole of the UK, we will also mention the here in Cardiff (Wales) which is where we are situated.
PLUS we will be including some dancers and teachers as guests to discuss upcoming events and other topics – if you are a dance teacher or event host we’d love to hear from you, please get in touch here.
For our listeners, you can get the latest updates, chance for prizes and please contact us on facebook or comment below if you have a topic you’d like to hear about!
