Our students ENJOY dancing to the FULLEST, and even have the confidence to perform in our student showcases.
COVID UPDATE
Classes have resumed since the pandemic since June 2021, all classes are on a pre-booking basis and drop-in classes are no longer available, but our classes are run as block of 4 or 6 week dance courses. All classes are held in a dance studio in Cardiff, with limited places of attendees and limited partner changes to prevent any Covid outbreaks.
This has proved an effective method to keep our customers and students safe and healthy, as well as the most effective way of learning!
Please note: you do not have to be vaccinated to attend our classes, we simply ask that all students are responsible for their own and others healthy and safety by ad-hearing to the regulations while in the dance studio as well as regular home testing, and are reminded NOT TO ATTEND if they have symptoms or have been exposed to someone with Covid-19 symptoms or diagnosis.
If you are looking for a gift for Christmas or any other occasion for your friends and loved ones to use in 2022, you can also purchase gift cards for the full course or private lessons. Havana People have added online private lessons to their services for your convenience, as well as regular "in-person" classes now that restrictions have been lifted.

Our Beginner classes are broken into 6-8 week courses that will teach you the foundations of Salsa dancing, and allow you to dance on the dance floor quickly and with confidence, and with any partner!
Havana People are passionate about teaching the strong leading/following skills (the signals that tell your partner what to do), how to dance to the beat and can teach both the leader and follower simple styling techniques that make you feel and look great!
Please note: To attend the advanced classes students MUST demonstrate a high level of dance skills and knowledge in Cuban Salsa so that the class is not slowed down for the other students. If you are not sure of your level please contact us with your query and we’ll help you find the right class for you!
Learn to dance the slow and sensual dance of Bachata.
Classes are held in the centre of Cardiff city in Revolucion de Cuba.

Currently our classes are held in a drop-in format, nor requires you to have a fixed partner.
Higher levels can choose a dance partner if desired, and stay with that partner to ensure ultimate comfortability and familiarity as the bachata movements advance.
Feeling nervous to join a group class? Or perhaps you want to learn at an accelerated rate, or improve to an advanced level?
Private classes enable the student to learn at their own pace, as well as pick up extra information and details to improve and enjoy their dancing on every level.
As a new format due to lockdowns and restrictions, private lessons are now offered ONLINE for your convenience and government guidance.
